In the midst of all that is changing in your home with the arrival of a new child, we invite you to take a moment to focus on what really matters most.

No one will have more influence on your child than YOU! Because we believe that what happens at home is more important than what happens at church, it is our hope that we can partner with you from the very beginning. We want to be your biggest fans, your strongest supporters, and your trusted guides as you raise your child to know what it means to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

BabyD is more than an event. It is an opportunity for you to take some time at the beginning of your journey as a parent to really think about what will matter the most in the life of your child; to really talk together and decide what you value and what you can do today that will have the greatest impact on your child's future.

We’ve got some things we do differently when it comes to baby dedication and we want to be sure and communicate those with you as early as possible in the process. See, one of the things that has always been true is we are big on cutting through the outer layers and getting to the heart of what’s going on. That’s true in people’s lives, but also in things like baby dedication. We want to be clearly focused on helping parents make a commitment to raise their children to have every opportunity to follow Jesus Christ. So before you invite family or setup lunch plans we would like to first invite you to attend one of our parent orientation sessions to hear more about what makes baby dedication unique at LCC.

1. REGISTER for the next BabyD Celebration.

3. ATTEND PARENT ORIENTATION on the date you signed-up for when you registered.

Leading up to the Baby Dedication Celebration we invite you to attend the BabyD Parent Orientation session that you selected when you registered. Don’t forget to be working on the parenting talks and homework leading up to this. If you don’t get them completely finished before orientation, that’s okay. They aren’t officially due until the day of your Baby Dedication Celebration.

BabyD Parent Orientation lasts about 20 minutes. During our time together we will introduce you to Kids' Life and talk about the homework assignments from the parenting talks. You will also receive the information you need to finalize your registration for our Baby Dedication Celebration. We’ll review a bunch of details with you about the Baby Dedication Celebration event and we'll be ready to answer your questions too, so bring those along!

Unless you are a single parent, we ask that both parents attend this orientation.
